We study, with purely analytic tools, existence, uniqueness and gradient estimates of the solutions to the Neumann problems associated with a second order elliptic operator with unbounded coecien ts in spaces of continuous functions in an unbounded open set in R N. 1. Introduction. In this paper we consider a linear second order elliptic operator, A = N X i;j=1 qijDij + N X i=1 FiDi V; with regular possibly unbounded coecien ts in a regular convex open set R N. The set may be unbounded. We study existence, uniqueness and gradient estimates of the solutions to the Neumann problems

- Estimates of the derivatives for parabolic operators with unbounded coefficients (2005, background): “The problem of estimating the derivatives of T (t)f has already been studied in literature by both analytic ([2, 4, 6, 12]) and probabilistic methods ([5, 19]).”
