Abstract We prove existence of flips for log canonical foliated pairs of rank one on a ${\mathbb Q}$ -factorial projective klt threefold. This, in particular, provides a proof of the existence of a minimal model for a rank one foliation on a threefold for a wider range of singularities, after McQuillan.

- Codimension 1 foliations with numerically trivial canonical class on singular spaces (2018, background): “In analogy with the case of projective varieties, one expects the numerical properties of KG to reflect geometric aspects of G (see [Bru04], [McQ08], [Spi17], [CS18], [AD13], [AD14], [AD16], [AD17b], [LPT18], [Tou08]).”
