Abstract The goal of this work is to prove that all Segre varieties Σ n 1 , … , n s ⊆ P N , N = ∏ i = 1 s ( n i + 1 ) − 1 , (unless the quadric surface in P 3 ) support families of arbitrarily large dimension and rank of simple Ulrich (and hence ACM ) vector bundles. Therefore, they are of wild representation type.
