In the present paper, the estimate of the Hankel determinant H3,1( f ) := ∣∣∣∣ a1 a2 a3 a2 a3 a4 a3 a4 a5 ∣∣∣∣ over the class S ∗ α , 0 < α 1, of analytic functions f with an := f (n)(0)/n!, n ∈ N∪ {0}, such that |arg(z f ′(z)/ f (z))|< απ/2 for z ∈ D := {z ∈ C : |z| < 1} , is examined.
