- Character sheaves on disconnected groups, X (2003, background): “Since is an affine space (see [L10, 3.12(b)]) defined overFq, it must contain some F-fixed point (P, P ′ , γ). By [L10, 3.8], is a homogeneous UP ∩ P ′ space (the action being the restriction of the G 0 -action on t Z) and the isotropy group of (P, P ′ , γ) is UP ∩ UP ′ (see [ L10 , 3.9]).”
