By Andrei Martínez-Finkelshtein. 2001
50 citations recorded by the source corpus.
This paper surveys some recent achievements in the analytic theory of polynomials orthogonal with respect to inner products involving derivatives. Asymptotic properties, zero location, approximation and moment theory are some of the topic considered.

- Orthogonal polynomials (2005, unknown): “The Spanish school around F. Marcellán, G. Lopez and A. Martinez-Finkelshtein has been particularly active in developing this area (see the surveys Marcellán– Alfaro–Rezola [51] andMartinez-Finkelshtein [53, 52] and the references therein).”
- Asymptotics and Zeros of Sobolev Orthogonal Polynomials on Unbounded Supports (2006, background): “The study of the asymptotics for the polynomials orthogonal with respect to (52) has been done especially when μ is bounded (see the survey [32]), and recently in [6] when μ is the measure associated with the Laguerre weight, N = 1, and c = 0.”
- On Sobolev orthogonal polynomials (2014, unknown): “Several surveys on specific topics within the field appeared in the nineties or at the turn of the century [72,84,86,91], they were far more restrictive in their scope and need update by now.”
