Methods: Neutralizing antibody responses to SARS-CoV-2 wild-type virus and spike protein variants B.1.617.1, B.1.617.2, B.1.618 (all first identified in India) and B.1.525 (first identified in Nigeria) were examined in human sera (n = 20) 2 or 4 weeks after 2 dose of BNT162b2 (Pfizer/BioNTech). Limitations: Potential for mutations to alter neutralization by affecting spike protein function rather than antigenicity; only examined effect of spike protein mutations on neutralization.
