We prove that a nitely generated group G that is (strongly) relatively hyperbolic with respect to a collection of nitely generated subgroups fH1; : : : ; Hmg has the Rapid Decay property if and only if each Hi ; i = 1; 2; : : : ; m, has the Rapid Decay property.
