This paper investigates the notion of software-defined networking (SDN), whose southbound interface can be applied through the OpenFlow protocol. The aim of this study is to discover the SDN architecture and the OpenFlow standard in some details. In addition, to look at implementing their tools on the oil company network. The simulation is done using mixing between a network emulator Mininet and Ryu controller with using python scripts.
