In this paper we study constant angle surfaces in Euclidean 3--space. Even that the result is a consequence of some classical results involving the Gauss map (of the surface), we give another approach to classify all surfaces for which the unit normal makes a constant angle with a fixed direction.

- Constant angle surfaces in Minkowski space (2009, background): “1 Introduction and statement of results A constant angle surface in Euclidean three-dimensional space E(3) is a surface whose tangent planes make a constant angle with a fixed constant vector field of the ambient space [1, 9].”
- Constant angle surfaces in the Heisenberg group (2009, unknown): “In these cases, the Hopf fibration is just the natural projection π : S 2 × R → S 2 , respectively π : H 2 × R → H 2 .
