Specifically, we propose that it is more fundamental to view topological entanglements such as braids as entanglement operators and to associate with them unitary operators that are capable of creating quantum entanglement.

- Braiding operators are universal quantum gates (2004, methodology): “This criterion is generalized to higher dimensional pure states in our papers [26, 27, 37, 38, 40].”
- Geometric (2019, background): “Crucially, stimuli sharing the same MIC orientation (e.g., right-titled, red) were interspersed among those with the opposing orientation (i.e., left-tilted, blue), indicating that the classification of MIC orientations presents a linearly inseparable problem within this stimulus space.”
