- Mean curvature self-shrinkers of high genus: Non-compact examples (2011, methodology): “hat such constructions could work for self-similar surfaces under mean curvature ow, and indeed there are constructions for the self-translating case in the interesting work by X.H. Nguyen (see [Ng1]-[Ng2]). The existence of self-shrinkers with the topology we consider in this paper was conjectured ”
