- Basic results on braid groups (2010, methodology): “For instance, we can use the following well known result by Kérékjartó [51] and Eilenberg [29], beautifully explained in [21], which states that an orientable, finite order homeomorphism of the disc D 2 is conjugate to a rotation: Theorem 2.6.”
- Conjugacy in Garside groups III: Periodic braids (2006, unknown): “Indeed, there is a classical result by Eilenberg [16] and Kerékjártó [23] (see also [11]) showing that an automorphism of the disc which is a root of the identity (a periodic automorphism) is conjugate to a rotation.”
- The nth root of a braid is unique up to conjugacy (2003, background): “Theorem 4.1 (de Kerékjártó [14, 5], Eilenberg [6]) Every periodic braid is conjugate either to a power of δ or to a power of γ .”
